Our roots lie in Belgium where we’ve been researching and developing our own growing systems and methods since 2017. Using our in-house expertise and the existing knowledge of modern berry farming available in Europe, and specifically Belgium, we've developed a fully integrated solution for berries and plants.

We strongly believe that an integrated approach, from genetics to fruit, is the way forward to high quality berries and plants.

Which is why we have partnered with Mattivi, a leading Italian berry breeder active in fruit production since 1975. This partnership allows us to produce strong, healthy plants for our own strawberry fruit production.

It also allows us to contribute to the ecosystem we evolve in by offering those same high-quality plants to propagators and other growers in Europe and North America, including those using our TCEA growing solutions.

Our growth plans have taken us to Quebec, Canada, where we are building our first scaled strawberry and plant production facility using our own TCEA growing solutions. The fruits of our labor - and our TCEA solutions - will soon be available to you in Quebec, the rest of Canada and on the East Coast of the US.

At Vertiberry, we aim to improve biodiversity by reducing the need for arable land and drastically increasing the nutritional value we produce per square meter of land.

We do this by producing berries and plants year-round and on-demand using totally controlled environment agricultural methods, thus reducing waste along the food supply chain. 

We also do it by developing TCEA strawberry growing solutions. These provide the next generation of growers with the techniques and expertise to produce strawberries year-round, compounding the positive environmental impact.
